Harsha & Prelish, now based in Sydney, go way back!
“Prelish and I met in the first year of our university back in Fiji. We dated each other for 9 years and then got engaged last year. This year we have completed a decade together. “

Tell us a little about your engagement- the functions & venue
We had a cute little proposal party with close family and friends on a cruise ship at Denerau Island in Fiji. We did a small engagement ceremony there and later a photo shoot at Natadola beach to mark the occasion.

Tell us about your journey in finding and selecting your vendors, and your experience with them-
My mum sewed my blouse. Prelish and I wore cream white matching saree with sherwaani from Saffron Soul, Tappoo Fiji. We loved the white palette with the beautiful sunset shoot. Pate from Fiji did his magic and took amazing pictures and videos. My family and friends assisted a lot in planning all of the details of the event. Captain cook cruises made an amazing buffet dinner for us, which we enjoyed with music, dance and laughter.

We were quite lucky to find a great photographer and a cruise ship booking for our family and friends. Usually these get booked out months in advance. But for us it was meant to be!
